Cracks & splashes for Art Daily Cafe

 Hello everyone!

July brought out my love for vintage and I needed just a glimpse of the moodboard to lighten my inspiration and create this jornal page.

I love dried flowers. Even the most common greens can made a lovely herbarium. I use them in my canvases, albums, cards…

Crackle on the other side is also one of my fvorite pastes. The possibilities are endless.

And while you make our short or long travels this summer pick up a book, take some weeds and flowers and make a herbarium.

I would like to enter Country View Challenge July with my art journal page.

Finnabair`s new release part IV

Hope is never lost for Art Daily

Hello everyone!

 I have to tell you I love the theme this month!

 We live our lives, we create, we build and destroy, and we put all our efforts and strength in life with just one thing we never loose until we`re alive – hope.

 The thing with wings that touches us after every fall.

May you never loose it.

 And since I just saw this challenge on The Funkie Junkie Boutique Blog - Icy and cold I think it suits perfect for my page and I`m entering my project.

Finnabir`s December Art Recipe

Hello everyone!

December is time for festive mood and I prepared  three mixed media Christmas cards as inspiration for our Art Recipe this month. I used Prima`s Spring Farm House papers as a base, but I choose neutral  toned  ones and combined them with some cut out elements from This Miracle Night by Craft O`Clock.

Few years ago I took smaller oranges and cut them in even slices. Then I arranged  them on a baking paper and  in the oven they went.

I find them perfect for Christmas cards and they went so well with our moodboard for December. A bit of twine in coral, some Prima poinsettia, Ginger Magic Sparks as accent color, lots of white gesso with a sponge and green leaves colored with Avocado Green Liqiud Acrylic. And I just couldn`t resist not to use some waxes here and there as always. My cards were ready.
