April Art Recipe

Hello everyone!

I`m back with project, this time for April Art Recipe on Finnabair`s blog.

I altered this small box and I challenge you to guess what came inside her.

I used all the yummy small jars with Finn`s products and to be completely honest the photos do not do this piece justice. In real life is incredibly shiny and glittery.

But we can`t have everything, right.

Vintage Art Journal

Hello everyone!

I wanted to create art journal page for a long time, but it didn`t happend till few days ago.

I have to say I enjoyed this far too much. As it seems after a llong break from crafting and art journaling, now I enjoy it much more than before.

There is a video for this spread below if you care to watch it, though it`s not short as I wnated to be. 

I kept reminding myself mentaly when I was recording it that I must try to keep it short, but yet...no such luck. 😂

I hope you`ll be interested in watching it with all this quarantine and long hours staying at home.

Altered brushes with video

Hello everyone!
I hope you all are good and healthy.
 Staying at home pushed my buttons too. I want to create all the time. But there is always something to be done, clean, you all know the drill. So enjoying my creative time is mixed with other duties.
I saw an event happening on Facebook, hosted by Finnabair anf decided to join the ladies and create something for everyone staying at home.

Altering these little brushes wasn`t my first idea, but then I saw one of them and remembered how messy they look. And though I`m mixed media fan forever, I`m not a big fan of my dirty brushes.
Don`t get me wrong, I love colorful, beat up from use brushes. They are a perfrct example how much you use them and source of inspiration for me. But I also like to keep mine as clean and as organized as possible.
So the decision was made in a heartbeat. I`ll make them pretty and at the same time I`ll try to save the bristles, so I can use them again. And I think I`ll be able to. Will keep you posted about it. Or you can go to my You Tube channel and subscribe so you can see in future videos if I use them or not.

Altered hoop

Hello friends!

My friend Anat Weksler challenged me a few days ago and this is how this project came to life.

I glued some acetate on the back of embroidery hoop and then literally spilled inks on it.

Added fine gold glitter, before the ink dried, doodled around the stains and my background was ready. On the wooden part of the hoop I used crackle and paper paste and then after they dried well, some metallique paints and waxes finished my "canvas". The gold stars are made of paper clay and then covered in gold glitter. I made them back around Christmas, but I thought I can use them here as well. That was it. If you have any questions, do leave me a comment below and I`ll answer ASAP.

I`m leaving my challenge down, so feel free too use it as inspiration and I do challenge you, to create something. Now it`s your turn.
